Understanding Our Products Shelf Life & Storage
We often get questions about the shelf life and proper storage techniques for our products. After all, consumers want to ensure that their supplements will stay fresh, potent, and safe for as long as possible. That’s why we make it a point to provide comprehensive information, in order to help consumers make an informed decision.
All of our products have a shelf life of 24 months, with the exceptions of Syntol, Novequin, and Floraphage, which have a shelf life of 18 months. Our scientifically based formulas guarantee that our products are able to be kept stable, safe, and effective at all stages of their shelf life.
How to store your Arthur Andrew Medical product
It’s easy to store our products correctly. As long as they are stored away from heat and sunlight in a cool, dry place, you can rest easy knowing that your product is safe for its entire shelf life and beyond.
Why our products do not need to be refrigerated
Refrigeration is not required for any of our products,including Syntol, which is formulated specifically to subvert the need for refrigeration that many probiotics have. Many probiotic products either explicitly require, or heavily encourage, refrigeration—which is why many consumers think it’s a necessity. However, with careful attention to formulation, the need for refrigeration can be eliminated.
For example, Syntol was formulated exclusively with high quality spore form and live bacteria strains that allow it to retain its potency without requiring refrigeration. Many probiotics are formulated with only low quality live strains, which would effectively be useless to the consumer without refrigeration, as they are NOT formulated to withstand room temperature conditions. With the use of scientific data and careful formulation, we’re proud to offer superior product stability to our customers.

Our products do not “spoil” like milk or put you in danger of getting sick if you take them past their expiration date. All that occurs when one of our products is past its shelf date is a minor loss of activity. This makes it easy to store our products long-term with no adverse effects.
