Ingredients
Chaffle Batter

½ cup dry mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoon coconut flour

¼ teaspoon baking powder

1/3 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg
-
A pinch of salt
Pizza Sauce
-
4 tablespoons tomato paste
-
1 tablespoon sun dried tomatoes
Toppings (Choose 3 or more)
-
Mini pepperoni slices
-
Green peppers
-
Onion
-
Olives
-
Mushrooms
-
Fresh basil
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine batter
ingredients.
Preheat the waffle maker, and pour ½
of the batter.
Close and cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
Remove the chaffle and set it aside.
Repeat with the second portion of
the batter.
Mix together tomato paste with sun
dried tomatoes
Top chaffles with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and any toppings you choose.
Place them onto the baking sheet and
bake for 5 minutes.
Change oven to broil for 1 minute max
Remove from the oven and serve
topped with fresh basil leaves.
Recipe Note
For more flavor, top your chaffles
with pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, or just sprinkle it with some grated
parmesan cheese....
