Satisfy your cravings for a hearty, low-carb meal with these Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Asparagus. Juicy, seared steak bites and crisp-tender asparagus are cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, making this a quick, keto-friendly dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into 1-inch cubes
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Add the steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Return the asparagus and steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
